Prasat Thom Complex
Prasat Thom is the principal monument of Koh Ker, the capital of the Khmer empire during the reign of Jayavarman IV in the 10th century.
The complex combines a walled temple group with a stepped pyramid, known locally as Prang, that climbs about 36 metres in seven tiers.
Koh Ker lies roughly two hours by road from Siem Reap and has its own entrance pass.
